Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, Elizaveta (Liza) Chkhaidze is a US-based composer, pianist, songwriter, and artist. A winner of the Forbes Georgia "UNDER 30" award in 2023 in the category of culture and arts, Liza recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a bachelor’s degree in Film Scoring, which she began in the fall of 2022. Prior to that, she was a student at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, majoring in piano performance since the age of 17.

As a composer, Liza scored the main title for the game show "Mtavari Chkviani" on Georgia's leading channel, "Mtavari Arkhi." She has also created soundtracks for various organizations and activist movements. Her scoring experience includes serving as an assistant composer for the student film "Chuckle With Russel"- by Eshank Modi.

As a pianist, Liza has won international competitions and has extensive experience performing various piano concertos with orchestras. She has also appeared on-screen in TV performances.

As an artist-songwriter, Liza has been releasing singles since the age of 14. In late 2022, she co-founded the band Beyond Niagara with fellow Berklee students, blending electro, pop, and jazz styles. The band has successfully released two albums.

Beyond Niagara is a cross continental collaboration started by three Berklee College of Music students in 2022. Beyond Niagara consists of Paul Vanier de Saint Aunay from France, Otto Norvio from Finland and Liza Chkhaidze from Georgia. The group despite being from all different corners of Europe work consistently through time zones, language and cultural barriers to generate innovative new sounds. Under the wide umbrellas of electro, pop and jazz they feel inspired to create music that adheres to only itself.
